NGC 4945 appears as a
large bright 21 x 4.5' edge on barred-spiral galaxy in the southern constellation Centaurus.
The star Xi 1 Centaurus appears as the bright white-blue star at bottom-right.
The star Xi 2 Centaurus appears as the bright white-blue star on the bottom-left
edge of the image. NGC 4945 is the large galaxy
at centre-right,
NGC 4945A appears as a faint smudge behind the bright white star at
centre-bottom-left.
NGC 4976 appears at the top-left corner.
