Galaxies NGC 1596 and NGC1602 (top)

and at least 11 other Galaxies.

The brighter of the two galaxies is NGC1596 in the constellation Dorado. The galaxy appears to be an edge-on spiral galaxy, with a magnitude of 12.1 it's not real bright, about 63,000 times fainter than you can see with the naked eye. Its size is 3.7 x 1.0 arc min.

The second galaxy (shown as the fainter smudge above NGC1596) is NGC 1602, a fainter galaxy of magnitude 13.33, that's around 158,000 times fainter than the faintest star you can see with your eye. It's size is 1.9 x 1.0 arc min.

The exposure is a single frame 240 second exposure.

Can any one identify the galaxies around the star SAO 233523, some of which are circled in red.
