The brighter of the two galaxies is NGC1596 in the constellation Dorado. The galaxy appears to be an edge-on spiral galaxy, with a magnitude of 12.1 it's not real bright, about 63,000 times fainter than you can see with the naked eye. Its size is 3.7 x 1.0 arc min.
The second galaxy (shown as the fainter smudge above NGC1596) is NGC 1602, a fainter galaxy of magnitude 13.33, that's around 158,000 times fainter than the faintest star you can see with your eye. It's size is 1.9 x 1.0 arc min.

The exposure is a single frame 240 second exposure.
