NGC 1365 - Barred Spiral Galaxy in Fornax

NGC1365 is a perfect example of a Barred Spiral galaxy. Found in the constellation of Fornax it's distance is about 55 million light years. Along the arms of the galaxy you can see luminuous blobs, which are actually nebula and other bright star forming regions. For those with keen eyes there is at least one other faint background galaxy to been seen.
